This page lets you permanently delete your Thermonode account
(eu.thermonode.app) and the personal data linked to it. Thermonode is
operated by Daren Decesare ("we", "us"). If you have any question about deletion,
contact us at thermonode@gmail.com.
Use the email address you sign in to the App with. We send a 6-digit code to that address to confirm the request is really yours, then delete your data straight away. There is no charge and you do not need the App installed.
If you still have the App on your phone, you can also delete your account from inside it: open Settings, then Account, then Delete Account. It follows the same steps and deletes the same data as this page.
We email a 6-digit code that is valid for 10 minutes.
Check your inbox for the message from Thermonode. Spam folder too.
You are about to permanently delete the account for and everything listed in section 3 below. This cannot be undone.
You can also email thermonode@gmail.com from your account email with the subject Delete my account. We confirm by reply once deletion is complete (within 30 days).

Data that is stored only on your phone (your App PIN and your local list of paired devices) is never sent to us. You remove that yourself by using the in App Reset or by uninstalling the App. Deleting your account also releases any monitoring unit you owned so it can be set up again by a future owner.
We may keep a limited record of your acceptance of the Terms and Disclaimer, and any data we are required to retain to meet a legal obligation. We keep this only for as long as the law requires, then we delete or anonymise it. We do not use retained data for any other purpose.
The self-service tool above deletes your data immediately. Backups that may still contain a copy are overwritten on our normal backup cycle.
If you are in the EU or EEA, the GDPR gives you the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise any of these, contact us at thermonode@gmail.com.
