Thermonode is a thermal anomaly monitoring device. It uses thermal imaging and gas sensing to detect unusual temperature patterns in the area being monitored, and sends you early warnings through this app, SMS, and the monitoring dashboard.

Thermonode is not a certified fire detection system. It is not a smoke alarm, heat detector, sprinkler system, or life-safety device under EN 54 or any equivalent standard. Thermonode is not a replacement for any fire safety equipment required by law, building code, or your insurance policy.

You must continue to maintain all legally required fire safety systems independently of Thermonode. Thermonode is intended as an additional layer of awareness — a tool that helps you see thermal events early. It does not replace professional fire safety infrastructure, monitoring contracts, or emergency services.

Thermonode depends on power, internet connectivity (WiFi or 4G), functioning sensors, and the HiveMQ cloud service. Any of these can fail. While Thermonode includes self-monitoring features, no monitoring device can guarantee 100% uptime or 100% detection of every thermal event.
